Shut Up and Do It

May 24, 2017

How often do we put worth on something before it has even happened?

A job interview, an audition, a presentation. The list goes on and on.

That’s what I have been doing for the past three weeks as I contemplate whether I should start a blog or not.

“Will people read what I write?”

“What if it isn’t any good?”

“Maybe I should take more time before I start.”

That’s when it hit me.

There would never be and never will be a “right time”.

Why was I placing judgment and forming an opinion on a blog that doesn’t even exist yet?

What I have to say or what I want to talk about will not resonate with everyone, but there will be those who love what I post. I have material that I have been working on and it is simply sitting on my desktop. I don’t want it to sit there anymore.

The lowdown:

  • I am starting a blog.

  • I don’t know what will come from it.

  • I am going to write about a lot of topics, some I don’t even know about yet.

  • I want to write for others and not just myself, so this is the first step.

I hope you read and enjoy. If you don’t, it doesn’t cost either of us anything.

Here we go.
